ENCOURAGEMENT
The families in this ministry have a heart for encouraging other parents, families and adoptees through every stage of the adoption/foster care process. Our families are ready to answer questions, share stories, pray together, and just remind others along their journey that they are not alone.
RESOURCES
We want to help others navigate the process of adoption and foster care, so we are committed to providing you with valuable resources including financial information, opportunities for funding assistance, classes throughout the year and an annual Adoption and Foster Care Conference.
SUPPORT
We offer support to families in the way of mentoring, groups, events, and counseling. We also help connect adoptive families so they can support each and encourage each other and other families who are beginning the process of adoption / foster care.

Our ministry began in 2005 with four families who had a heart for adoption and foster care and a desire to serve other families going through this process. Since then, the ministry has now grown significantly as families at Lakepointe and across the country have been called to live out: James 1:27. We have a huge heart for all sides of the foster care adoption journey and are tied together through the common threads of adoption, foster care and serving orphans.

HOW TO PREPARE
FINANCIAL OVERVIEW
One of the major roadblocks in making the decision to adopt or foster a child is the cost. These fees vary greatly due to the many factors that affect them, including: the age of the child, type of adoption, using an attorney, whether the adoption is domestic or international, etc. Our ministry helps provide resources for families to consider so financial elements are not a setback in your decision-making.
